Draft for review. This document sets out the intended commercial terms for RAO Insights and has not yet been reviewed by counsel. It should be replaced with a lawyer-reviewed version before general availability.
RAO Insights is operated by the Geoeconomic Strategy Unit ("GSU", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms.
You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure. Accounts are for a single named individual — Personal and Enterprise seats may not be shared. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
We verify email addresses before granting access. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Personal and Enterprise plans are granted by us following a request and are not activated automatically on registration. Requesting a paid plan does not create an obligation on either side until terms are agreed in writing.
RAO scores, pillar decompositions, regime classifications and all derived analytics are our intellectual property and are licensed to you for internal use only.
You may not redistribute, resell, sub-license or publish the underlying data, in whole or in substantial part, nor use it to construct a competing index or product. Reasonable citation of individual figures in internal or client-facing analysis is permitted with attribution to the Geoeconomic Strategy Unit.
Automated extraction of the platform — scraping, bulk export beyond the provided tools, or circumventing plan restrictions — is not permitted.
The RAO framework is a research tool. Nothing on the platform is investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or to enter any transaction. Scores are model outputs built on third-party data and carry model and data risk. You are solely responsible for decisions taken using them.
We aim to keep the platform available and current but do not warrant uninterrupted access. Data is updated periodically and may lag underlying sources. We may change, add or withdraw features.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to the email address on your account. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
